2020-2021 Virtual Art Program
Dear all,
I invite you to join a new art program I will be running all through the coming academic year. The program is built to reflect NJ state mandates on the art curriculum, in particular:
Line
Shape
Color
Form
Pattern
Texture
Balance
Each section is comprised of five different parts. Each week is a new topic. Some projects are more time consuming than others and will be left to be completed as homework.
In addition, we will have several trips to museums around the world for scavenger hunts, and other fun activities.
We will learn techniques through learning about past and present artists and expand to many different disciplines: experiencing different kinds of drawing, painting, sculpting, and building. A full curriculum will be sent when registered.
Schedule:
At this time the program is built for Lower Elementary students and will run on Wednesday afternoons in English, and Monday afternoons in Russian at 4:30. Lessons run for 1 hour.
Given this year is unlike all other years, I understand that there might be some initial period of adjustment. Therefore, we will start Monday, September 21 (Russian), and Wednesday, September 23 (English).
Materials:
Each month I will be sending a list of necessary materials to purchase in advance for the following month.
Prices:
$400 per semester for one child.
$600 per semester for family (siblings).
$25 per single class for one child.
$35 per single glass for family (siblings).
